Seen from export trading situation, compared with that of last year, export volume of glyphosate TC declined by more than 20% during Jan to May. There were less than 300 export bills during the same period, which declined by 30% than that of last year. During Jan to Apr, average export price of glyphosate TC kept on increasing, while resulted from the weak demand of overseas market, it started to down. In May, average export price of glyphosate TC decreased by 6.5% year-on-year, and 1.3% month-on-month. Seen from export situation of Jun, the price will keep on decreasing.
In the future, with the high pressure of environmental protection in China, supply of glyphosate will be cut down. According to www.sa123.cn, in the first five months of 2014, there was a decrease on the number of glyphosate manufacturers, with output of glyphosate TC declined by 15% year-on-year.
In the first half of 2014, demand from South America fell down because of the weather condition, while according to report, the demand will recover in the second half, which might be another main push factor of China glyphosate market.
