Lier Chemical Increases Production Capacity of Glufosinate

Recently, Lier Chemical’s the board of directors announced to raise RMB 98 million in Mianyang base (Sichuang Province) to expand existing glufosinate ammonium production line and facilities, which will be put into operation at the end of September, 2016.
After the completion of the project, theglufosinate capacity of Lier Chemical will reach 5,000 t/a, which is expected to increase annual average sales RMB 338 million.
It is known that the domestic capacity of glufosinate ammonium is expanding dramatically. Besides Lier chemical’s total glufosinate capacity 17600 t/a project, Zhejiang Yongnong Chemical Co., glufosinate production capacity has reached about 3,000 t/a; Sichuan Fuhua has completed 12,000 t/a glufosinate ammonium project. Among Inner Mongolia Jia RUIMI Fine Chemical’ 3000 t/a glufosinate ammonium project, the first 600 tons production line with has been trial-produced, the other four production lines will be completed by the end of next year, Hebei Weiyuan with 450 t/a capacity is on the construction of 1,000 tons glufosinate, and will start 3000 tons new project.
